形态描述
体长，背部显著隆起，腹部圆。吻略尖。眼大，头长为眼径的4倍左右。口下位，下唇分3叶，侧叶较窄，中叶三角形突起较大。须1对，稍长。背鳍刺光滑，极粗壮，其长远超过头长；胸、腹鳍短；尾鳍分叉。体侧有圆形大黑斑；背、尾鳍多小黑点。
生物学
Body elongate and fusiform. A strong and smooth spine in the dorsal fin, the spine being longer than the head. It is found in the West River. A food fish, the body length is about 200-300mm.
